Now that we've entered the final stretch of 2024, we wanted to share a couple important and interesting things relevant to the real estate world:

• Property tax bills are mailed out once a year by November 1st: Check your mailbox or confirm with your lender (if you opt to pay via impound account), as there is nearly zero forgiveness for late or unpaid taxes. Click here for homeowner resources from the LA County Assessor's Office.
• Zillow now offers climate risk data: Anyone who has purchased a home in Southern California in recent years understands the importance of high fire risks and the financial impact increased hazard insurance premiums have on new homeowners. Each for-sale listing on Zillow now displays risk scores for flood, fire, wind, air, and heat, as well as risk percentages estimated in the future.
